The upper loop is shaped from deep, dark Ebony. Suspended below it, the floral element is hand-engraved in pale Boxwood, then buffed and polished until the engraved depths settle into a softer, darker tone against the polished surface. Two woods, and within one of them, a second layer of contrast drawn out entirely by hand.
Because the wood is natural and every engraving is done by hand, no two creations are ever quite the same. The subtle variations in tone and texture aren't flaws — they're nature's signature on your pair alone.

▾Is the floral drop painted or dyed?
Neither. The lighter and darker tones in the floral element come from hand-engraving the Boxwood, then buffing and polishing it. The depth is revealed by craftsmanship, not colour.
▾Will wooden jewellery be heavy to wear?
Not at all. Lightweight comfort is one of the biggest advantages of wood. Arjuni weighs 10 g the pair, designed to make a statement while staying comfortable enough for long hours.

▾What wood is Arjuni made from?
Two: Ebony for the upper loop and Boxwood for the engraved floral drop. Both are exotic hardwoods, responsibly repurposed from offcuts of fine wood craftsmanship rather than cut new for jewellery.
▾Will the engraving wear away?
No. The pattern is cut into the Boxwood rather than applied on top of it, so there is no surface layer to lose. Dust can settle into the engraved lines over time — a soft, dry brush lifts it out.
▾Can Arjuni get wet?
Please avoid it. Remove your earrings before bathing, swimming or exercising. If they do get damp, dry them immediately with a soft cloth and let them air fully before storing.
