Sarada takes a long Boxwood drop and sets it with Ebony — each dot cut into the surface by hand and polished flush, so you feel one continuous face rather than a pattern laid on top. The pale gold of the Boxwood is the wood's own colour, deepened by cutting and polishing, and the near-black dots are Ebony, the same wood used for the inlay lines across the collection.
Details ▾
- Woods: Boxwood body with Ebony dot inlay
- Colour: the wood's own — nothing dyed or stained
- Technique: hand-cut inlay, polished flush
- Pair weight: 10 g
- Findings: metal alloy
- Unit: one pair
How to wear it ▾
The drop is long enough to read across a room and light enough to forget. Against a saree it sits well below the earlobe, where the pale Boxwood lifts darker drapes and the Ebony dots pick up the border. With a kurta or a plain shirt it does the same work in reverse, giving a quiet outfit one detail worth looking at.
Hair tied back shows the full length; loose hair lets the dots appear and disappear as you move.
Care ▾
- Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Store in a separate pouch or zip bag with the air pressed out.
- Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing.
- Keep away from perfume, moisturiser, soap and other harsh chemicals.
- Dry immediately if the pair gets wet. Brief contact is survivable; soaking is not.
Common questions ▾
Are the dots painted on?
No. Each dot is a piece of Ebony set into a channel cut in the Boxwood, then polished level with the surface. Run a finger across and you feel one smooth face.
How heavy is a pair?
Around 10 g. A metal earring of these dimensions would weigh several times that, which is why a drop this long stays comfortable through a full day.
Will the colours fade?
There is no dye to fade. Boxwood deepens slowly with age and handling, and the Ebony stays near-black.
Can I wear these every day?
Yes. Dense hardwood, hand-finished and quality-checked. What it does not forgive is being dropped onto tile or stone.
Is Cash on Delivery available?
Yes, across India, with a ₹50 charge on COD orders. Prepaid orders ship free. Delivery takes three days within Kolkata and five to seven working days elsewhere.
