How is hand-painted wooden jewellery different from printed jewellery?
Printing, moulding and transfer processes exist to make every unit identical, and they sit on a uniform surface. Hand-painting is applied with a brush by a person, one pair at a time, onto wood that already has its own grain. The result varies slightly from pair to pair — which is the point, not a defect.

Why paint onto Boxwood?
Boxwood is pale and very close-grained, so it takes paint cleanly and keeps colour bright, while the grain stays faintly readable beneath. Painting onto a darker wood dulls the red considerably.

Will the paint chip or come off?
Not with ordinary wear. What damages painted wood is solvent and abrasion — perfume sprayed directly on, sanitiser, nail-polish remover, or scrubbing at the surface. Avoid those, wipe only with a dry cloth, and the finish holds.

How heavy are they?

Can Aarushi get wet?
