Two stripes of Boxwood are joined into the Ebony across the lower half of the diamond — not painted on, not stuck to the surface, but bonded edge to edge as separate pieces of wood before the whole form is shaped. The colour runs all the way through, which is why it cannot wear off.
The result is a 4 cm diamond that stands on its point: sharp at the top, sharp at the bottom, and banded across the middle. Earthy and bold at once.
